Colin Tucker was the CTO and COO at Orange for its European businesses and Main Board Director on its listing on the FTSE. As founding CEO of 3, the first 3G mobile operator in the UK, Colin developed the role to become the Deputy Chairman of the Hutchison 3G group in Europe. During the last 10 years he has taken a number of Non-Executive and Chairman Positions in technology and communication-related businesses. He brings exceptional insights to open doors to companies, advise management teams and run the Board.
Colin is currently Chairman of Novocomms and Non-Executive director for Cenerva. He acted as chairman and advisor to two start-up companies spun out of Edinburgh University. In addition to this, he has provided angel funding and mentoring to two further start-up companies in the fields of support for vulnerable people and local search software.
