Initially at HSBC Bank plc, David progressed into a commercial manager role, providing debt facilities to a portfolio of businesses. He moved to a corporate finance boutique and spent three years advising on small-cap M&A transactions and fund raising. He moved to an investor role at Mercia Ventures in 2018 where he now focusses on supporting value creation within the portfolio, particularly helping them transition from seed to series A.
